Certificate in Multicultural Preaching
Portland Seminary's Institute for Pastoral & Congregational Thriving partnered with the and to create an all-expenses-paid, yearlong Certificate in Multicultural Preaching, providing women ministers with an opportunity to:
- Hone their communication skills
- Receive seminary-level training
- Build networks of peer support
This graduate certificate will be conferred by Religion for Her and recognized by Portland Seminary for six credits of advanced standing toward a master's degree.

The next cohort will run from September 2024 through May 2025. It will include:
- Two in-person gatherings in Oregon’s Willamette Valley (Sept. 13-15, 2024 & May 6-8, 2025)
- Monthly virtual cohort gatherings
- Two individual coaching sessions
- Four individual spiritual direction sessions
- Fall semester Biblical Foundations online course
- Spring semester Multicultural Preaching online course
- Certificate conferral at Portland Seminary graduation
