Certificate in Multicultural Preaching
Portland Seminary's Institute for Pastoral & Congregational Thriving partnered with to create an all-expenses-paid, yearlong Certificate in Multicultural Preaching, providing women ministers with an opportunity to:
- Hone their communication skills
- Receive seminary-level training
- Build networks of peer support
This graduate certificate will be conferred by Leadership Center and recognized by Portland Seminary for six credits of advanced standing toward a master's degree.
The next cohort will run from September 2025 through May 2026. It will include:
- Two in-person gatherings in Oregon’s Willamette Valley (Sept. 11-14, 2025 & May 5-7, 2026)
- Virtual cohort gatherings
- Virtual coaching sessions
- Virtual spiritual direction sessions
- Online course
- Certificate conferral
Applications for the 2025-2026 cohort are open now and are due by June 20, 2025.
