Cassy Zinke

The College of Nursing hired Cassy Zinke as an assistant professor of nursing in 2022. She worked as an adjunct professor at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox during the spring semester of 2022, supervising 15 students during their clinical rotations, and for the previous five years worked as a registered nurse in the labor and delivery unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland.

She previously gained experience as an RN in the surgical unit at the same Providence hospital (2016-17) and as a certified nursing assistant at Cedar Highlands Adult Family Home (2014-15) and Prestige Assisted Living (2014), both in Vancouver, Washington.

Cassy earned a master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Mary (online) in 2021 and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Concordia University in Portland in 2016. Her volunteering in the profession included two trips to Haiti to serve with the Midwives of Haiti organization in 2017 and 2019.

She lives in Newberg with her cat Milo. Cassy attends Door of Hope in Portland and enjoys swing dancing, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
