Keelan LoFaro

The School of Education welcomed Keelan LoFaro as an assistant professor of education in the school’s Graduate Teaching and Leading Department in 2015. Prior to working at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox University, she worked as a science teacher and department chair in public schools in Washington, D.C. and New York City. She also worked to lead professional development initiatives with teachers at the school, district, and state levels.

Keelan earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Portland State University (2019), a master’s degree in education from Pace University in New York (2009) and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Oregon State University (2005). Her research is focused on preparing teachers to use culturally sustaining pedagogies in STEM education. She lives with her husband Daniel and their daughter Sofia.
